first, most common cause of ggt increase is alcohol intake. it must be stopped completely or reduced maximally and ggt fall is then expected to reach normal values in 6-8 weeks. also, some medications, including sedative that you re taking such as clonazepam or ambien are affecting liver too and can caus eliver damage if taken excessively so these drugs should be reduced.
