Brief Answer:
Do blood tests and x rays.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your questions and understand your concerns.

Please consult an endocrinologist, who will do a detailed evaluation.

What we usually do in evaluation are:

1. Clinical examination: Height, sexual maturity, parents' Height to estimate the target height, etc

2. Blood tests : to look for any illness which will decrease growth - check liver function, kidney function and complete blood count

3. Hormonal tests - thyroid function, growth hormone tests ( IGF1 and stimulation tests)

4. Hand Xrays - to look for bone maturity.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further questions, I will be pleased to help you.

Regards
Dr Ajish TP
