Suggest Ways To Avoid Cancer

Question: Dear Doctor

Of late, there has been huge increase of Cancer patient. My father died of Cancer.
I am a non-smoker and non-alcoholic person aged 29. I have seen people who never addicted to anything, despite they had cancer. Obviously, there have to have other reasons too.

I am very concerned about it. Can you please let me know, or suggest/guide how to take pre-cautions to avoid these disease? What are the do's and dont's??

Hello dear. It is good to know you are a non smoker and a teetotaller.
Besides that you can take certain steps to avoid certain type of cancers.
1. Vaccinate yourself against hepatitis B.
2. Never share any injectable needles.
3. Adopt a healthy monogamous relationship.
4. Avoid getting overweight by doing regular physical exercises.
5. Avoid areas of heavy pollution.
6. Avoid red meat(beef , mutton), drink plenty of liquids and eat fibre rich diet.
I would like to know the diagnosis of your father(type of cancer, which area).

My father had non-small cell lung carcinoma. He underwent radio theraphy. My father was a smoker. Post radiation he had lung infection .
