Brief Answer:
You need a mallet splint of aluminium

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your case and I can understand your confusion. I would recommend you mallet splint of Visco/tynor company, its one part is made up of flexible aluminium strip which is applied on palmar aspect of finger and Velpro are applied over finger. So that finger remain in straight position for 3 weeks.
Cost of this splint is between 60 to 100 rupees. This will help in healing of that injury. After that you can start physiotherapy If still there is confusion then you can send me the images of splints and I can guide you about the right choice.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions is there.
Thanks.

Thnank you for the answer. Whether it is water proof or should she avoid water for that part.
And whether i can make my mother wear it or she can take it herself or should i go to someone else(who) to wear it-please tell about how to maintain.

Brief Answer:
It is not water proof.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is not water proof and so avoid applying water on that side. It has sponge in side and it will become wet due to that.
It is better that a qualified orthopedician should apply this splint to you.
And for maintenance she needs to wear it all the time as if it removed repeatedly, It will not able to correct the problem.
Let me know if there is any other query.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Tynor is better

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There is no such drug which can cure you faster. This injury take 3-4 weeks to heal. White splint of Tynor company is better. And you should replace it from the previous one as soon as possible.
Let me know if there is any other query.
Thanks.

Thank you sir for your answer.

If you please give some guideline to replace it, i mean what precaution is to be taken while replacing it.
Further if you please elaborate why the one from tynor is better than the one already tied.

With regards,

Brief Answer:
It should be done by a orthopaedician

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your current splint is straight, but we need hyper correction, and that is possible by Tynor one. It will allow better position of ligaments and bony fragment.
It should be applied by a orthopaedician.
Do not try it at home.
Let me know if you want to know any thing else.
Thanks.
