Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following possibilities are there:

1. since visited gynecologist what was her opinion is it polymenorrhea or oligomenorrhea?
2. since the main cause of irregular M.C. is hormonal imbalance has she advised you for any investigations? [TSH,FSH,Prolactin]
3. Are there any associated lifestyle factors, like: disturbed lifestyle [stress], sudden weight loss/gain,over physical exertion, any reproductive organ problem?

Do revert back with your concern.

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. good thing is that there is PCOD [Disease] and not PCOS [syndrome] and we hold PCOD due to low metabolism (digestive fire) thus drugs given to you will work by increasing the Metabolism by acting as pacahana, ushna, teekshna, sukshma, lekhana drugs and thus reducing the symptoms.

2. Avoid fatty food, curd, late night work, soyabean, milk, mustard oil, cabbage, and take moong dal, tambul, saindhav, tandulodak, coconut water, vegetable soups
3.You can consult with a Panchkarma Doctor regarding Lekhan Basti,Nasya Karma and Vaman procedure.

4. Because PCOD affect Ovulation so

i. AVOID: refined carbohydrates (packed cereals,white bread-rice-flour,pasta, cakes ,biscuits,sugar, honey, fruit juice concentrates,’starch’,watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple,potato,carrots,dried fruits,ice cream,chocolates, jellies, pizza).
.TAKE: fresh green vegetables,whole grains,olives,soy products,whole legumes (peas,beans,lentils),brown rice,oat meal,barley.

5. For Medicine aspect kindly consult a qualified Ayurveda Physician or MD/MS in Stree Roga evum Prasuti Tantra [Gyne & Obs] near your locality.
