Suggest Treatment To Cure Painful Abscess On Buttocks

Question: Hi
I have an abcess in my buttocks and its very painful. Could you suggest some med for that pls? Seems like its started since last 2 days....

Incision and drainage recommended.

Hello,
Nice to meet you,

The abscess need to be drained (removed with an incision) in order to get it cured completely. Taking medications wont help in case off abscess. Antibiotics can be used after draining the pus, for treating organism causing infection.Treatment can be decided after clinical examination by doctor.
Following drainage strict perineal hygiene (area around the buttock) is needed to prevent reinfection.
So visiting a surgeon is advised for Incision and drainage of pus from abscess.Meantime I would suggest you anti inflammatory medication like aceclofenac for pain
