Suggest Treatment For Yellow Discolouration On Tongue

default
Posted on Fri, 29 Jan 2016
Question: What are these yellow elognated growths on my tongue and how can I remove them and the yellow coating of the tongue? My tongue is also very dry and is sore at the front. I have tried antifungals, probiotics, clean veg and chicken diet, no dairy/wheat, no sugars like soda/cake/sweet, limited fruit etc, tongue scraping etc. None of these have removed the coating. I eat an alkaline diet. I have good oral hygiene normally, brush 4 mins twice a day but my mouth does not feel right either.

Brief Answer:
yellow points are because of medications

Detailed Answer:
Hai,
Thanks for the reply.

As your problem seems to be your sinus congestion problem followed by the medication that you are taking.

as sinusitis can be managed with herbal medication and steam inhalation.

as frequent intake of antibiotics may cause such problems.as yellow patches will disappear on its own in one or two months.in meantime try to avoid antibiotics .

usage of antifungal and other chemical substances may cause such tongue condition. try to avoid it.

just wash and rub your tongue mildly with salt mixed with lemon juice twice a day.

follow the routine oral hygiene.
sinusitis can be managed through Ayurveda.

Hope I answered your query.
Kindly get back to me for further clarification.
