Suggest Treatment For Yellow Discharge And Stinging Sensation In The Vagina

Question: I have had something that's been ongoing for 4 months. I am uncertain if this is the cause, but I think from using a cheap, dull razor on my private area resulted in an infected bump that was on the opening of my vagina. I shaved really well, also used the same razor for my legs and underarms. Afterwards, all areas were a bit sore so I figured it was just razor burn. Around this time, I felt a lot of emotional stress as I was let go from my job. I noticed the strange bump along with shocks of pain, and cloudy discharge. I went to a carenow clinic and the results were that the Enterococcus species showed abnormal in my urine sample but everything else was normal. They put me on antibiotics, yeast infection pill, and some other medicine just in case the bump was herpes(which is wasn't). My bump went away completely but other symptoms didn't. I went back and they put me on more antibiotics, but said that the urine and lab results were negative. I then went to my OBGYN and testing was negative but she put me on a cream antibiotic to insert. I thought that worked but sure enough, 3 days later I was feeling symptoms again. I went back to her again to get further (more-detailed) testing done, including a sonogram and everything turned out normal. My current symptoms are shocks of pain around the body but mostly in the pelvic region, abnormal periods(big clots), yellow discharge, numbness and stinging in my vagina, sometimes chills, inflammation/bloating, gassy, indigestion sometimes, I would pee out this tissue substance. I usually eat healthy(green smoothies and all) but I notice when I eat junk food, my conditions worsen. I feel like there is something either in my bloodstream or intestines that is causing this. And also, can you recommend someone for a second opinion?

Hi there,
Dr. Purushottm Neurgaonkar welcomes you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) I can understand that with so many ongoing symptoms, you must be really worried.
But be patient. Let's give your body proper time to heal.

3 ) As you have already been given a lot of antibiotics, I will suggest you to take pre probitic for at least couple of weeks.

Also , use of Lactic acid containing vaginal wash On daily basis at the bath time will be of help.

4 ) I will suggest you to stick to the healthy diet only and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Drink plenty of water . Avoid deep fried foods, bakery products and refined sugars.

5 ) For your heavy menstrual bleeding, please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for tablets of Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid combination. You can safely use these tablets to control the bleeding during menses.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back.

I will suggest you the pro biotic that contains various types of Lactobacilli spores.

I will also suggest to use curds, yoghurt and buttermilk on daily basis. This also helps to improve gut flora.

You can get them across the counter and if needed please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for getting capsules or sachets of Vibact DS.
