Question: hi doc good evening My mother got lip bite couple of days back while having food and now the wound wont dry up. I have been prescribed metrogyl DG gel what medicine can i give her

I have gone through your query. You can wash the wound with hydrogen peroxide and then saline. After that can apply metrogyl DG gel.
But if swelling and redness or discoloration is there then approach your doctor for systemic antibiotic therapy. I would suggest Co-amoxiclav for such case. Taking vitamic C and B complex along with this will be helpful also.
Also check her blood sugar levels.

what are the dosages of Co-amoxiclav i mean how many tablets a day and which vitamic C and B complex tablets u suggest....does she needs to take both vitamic C and B complex?

Vitamin C can be taken as chewable form which is available in pharmacy as over the counter. Vitamin B complex also is also available as over the counter. You can get the combination form also. You can ask these from your pharmacy.
Co-amoxiclav is a prescription antibiotic. You can ask your GP for that. I usually give 625mg twice daily for 5 days for such cases.
