Brief Answer:
Regarding widespread itchy lesions

Detailed Answer:
Thank you.
I have viewed the images.
Do you itch more at night? Does it also involve the scrotum and genitals? Is anyone else in your family affected similarly?
Perhaps you have Scabies. I suggest you to take a tab. Ivermectin 12mg, single dose. Repeat it after a week. In addition I suggest you to take a tab levocetrizine 5mg daily in evening.

Regards

Dear Dr.Kakkar,

Thanks a lot for your reply.
Yes, I do itch more at night and it involves scrotum and genitals. On scrotum i do have more bigger lesions. I have been suffering due to this since more than a month.
My wife used to have it and now it spread to me too.

As adviced by you, i will take one table of tablet Ivermectin 12mg and will take it next week.
Also i will take one tablet levocetrizine 5mg daily in evening.

Thanks a lot doctor.

Brief Answer:
Scabies. Also use permethrin cream 5% - single, whole body application

Detailed Answer:
Ok. That confirms that you have scabies.
In that case the same treatment should also be taken by your wife. In addition to what I have suggested I also advice a single application of 5% permethrin cream, whole body, neck downwards. Keep it overnight for 8 hours.. Bath next day.

Regards
