Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your cocnern. Whooping cough at the age of 77 needs alittle work up as it could be upper respiratory tract infection, Asthma , COPD, or any other allergic or inflammatory response. Supportive care, home remedies, anti histamines, avoidance of allergens, prompt use of antibiotics if needed, oxygen therapy, anti tussives and home remedies like warm comforting beverages, hot herbal tea mixed with honey etc will help.

I woudl like you to visit a physician and let them have a look and sort it out. I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
