Suggest Treatment For White Spots Inside The Cheeks

default
Posted on Wed, 30 May 2018
Question: I found these two white spots on the inside of my cheek. Does this look like mouth cancer? They are not painful. I often bite my cheek by accident in this area, but I don't remember doing it lately and these are not painful. They are near where my teeth line hit the cheek. Scared they are oral cancer spots. I'm 31 and used to smoke when younger, but I quit a few years ago.

Brief Answer:
Looks like excessive keratin deposition, not cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

I have viewed the image.

The white spots does not look like oral cancer, rather they look like excessive keratin deposition or hyperkeratosis..

It can be most probably due to cheek bite.

So can you please tell that do you often bite your cheek?
Do you have sharp cusps of back teeth?
Have you noticed it for the first time?
Are these spots raised from surface when touched?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

I also found this red spot on my upper cheek near where my teeth hit the cheek. There is one on both sides of my mouth. They don't hurt either.
