default
Posted on Sat, 13 Aug 2016
Question: I was in a boat in the ocean. Two days after I woke up with these little red blrownish tags on my stomach and lower abdomen after being exposed to the sun. I am not sure if it is related the ones in the bottom itch. They have texture almost feels like a little wart but the ones on the bottom are dark discolored and they itch. The little tags on my stomach do not itch. It is inly in the front of my body not my back or anywhee else on the body.

Brief Answer:
Seems insect bite hypersensitivity reaction, steroid cream & antihistaminic

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it seems to be some insect bite hypersensitivity reaction.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply steroid cream like clobetasol propionate cream or betamethasone cream on the affected areas twice daily for 7-10 days and take antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine 4mg once daily at bedtime for 7-10 days.
This will resolve it.
Steroidal preparations are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
