Brief Answer:
ORS is the mainstay of treatment

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query. Your daughter is probably suffering from food poisoning. The mainstay of treatment is ORS (oral rehydration solution) which needs to be given to make up for the salt and water lost through vomiting. Although antibiotic Zifi (Cefixime) is being given, it was not necessary. However, since you have started it, you must complete the course in order to avoid antibiotic resistance. Give Domstal (Domperidone) before feeds / as required.

Please be patient. Keep giving ORS. The vomiting can be there for another 2-3 days. Monitor the urine output. If the frequency of passage of urine is normal, you need not worry. But if it comes down, or if the child becomes lethargic, you will have to rush to the doctor without delay.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
