Brief Answer:
I would like to take him to ER to be on safer side

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Fever with rash can be due to viral infection. The common cause of headache is fever and of vomiting due to gastritis associated with viral infection.

But the vomiting with headache can be also be due to brain infection and it should be ruled out as it needs to be treated aggressively.

Give him paracetamol for symptomatic relief in fever and headache. If the symptoms may aggravate overnight and repeated vomiting may lead to dehydration and hypoglycemia. Therefore I would suggest you to get him clinically evaluated by a physician at the ER to be on safer side and to rule out any brain infection.

I shall be glad to answer if you have any more doubts.
Wish your child speedy recovery
Regards

What if he had a possible concussion on April 30th. I understand could symptoms start this late, if he has just been experiencing minor headaches until last night

Brief Answer:
Concussion can not be correlated with fever and rash

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up

Remote history of concussion can rarely present with headache and vomiting but presence of rash and fever can not be related to this.
Even if due to concussion there is vomiting and headache with associated fever and rash due to viral infection ,he needs to be evaluated to rule out increased intracranial pressure.
So even in this case I would like to get him clinically evaluated.
