Question: I have now had 3 events whereby i was awoken at night ready to vomit and difficulty breathing. Each time i panicked and ran to the bathroom. I did not vomit

Breathing difficulty may be due to your old age or suffocation in your room or associated with gastric problem.
When such incident occurs again, go to window, open it and take very slow deep breathing.
These all may be due to age related or might be some medicines you are consuming and it causes so.
If you have allergy from food, medicine or some things, avoid them or keep away from them.
