Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern
XXXXXXX XXXXXXX reportedly suffered from a condition called vitiligo whose treatment required depigmentation of the rest of the skin color, which can remain in patches.

The process is called depigmentation and is not a first line treatment in vitiligo. Its not done through a pill. Topical PUVA and hydroquinone are generally used for this purpose.

This is only resorted to if the vitiligo is widespread and attempts at re pigmentation don't produce satisfactory results.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
