Suggest Treatment For Viral Fever And Cough

Question: Dear sir

My son is suffering from viral from last 6 days the fever has come down but doctors are not confident is it dengue or typhoid dengue tests are negative but my doctor still suspect this he has cough temp is oki now I need suggestion on the same pls help this is the latest blood report.

Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the details and reports.
The report shows normal hemoglobin.Although the Platelet count is >100000/cmm but it is towards lower range(Normal >2.5 lac/cmm).The TLC(total leukocyte count is low <4000.
In viral infection fever should show a falling trend after 3-4 days.If fever persists longer other causes should be searched for.
In view of low leukocyte count and fever persisting for 6 days I would like to get Dengue test,test for typhoid and C reactive protein(to rule out bacterial infection).
