Brief Answer:
Use mupirocin ointment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
MRSA infection of vagina is usually resistant to common antiseptics.
There have been various studies for MRSA vaginitis.
Few have used intravenous vancomycin for 5 days.
But recent studies have shown 10 day application of mupirocin ointment twice daily intra vaginally eradicated infection completely . There is no need for intravenous treatment. Don't use lindane or surfaz. Best option is mupirocin and most importantly for 10 days completely.Discuss about this your treating doctor.
MRSA will also be colonised all over her body not only vagina.
The routine advice is that the whole body has to washed while bathing with chlorhexidine liquid for 10 days.
This body wash will ensure removal of MRSA from whole body.

Wishing your daughter speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
