Brief Answer:
fluids, cranberry, antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

UTI is associated with frequency of urination, pain on urination, fever, change in the color or odor of the urine, urgency to urinate, abdominal pain. Not all of these may occur.

Treatment involves : (1) drinking a lot of fluids unless you have a condition that would prevent this eg heart failure, liver failure or kidney failure

The fluids help to flush the urinary tract

(2)cranberry products can sometimes help

(3)antibiotics are needed to effectively treat an urinary tract infection. You would need a prescription from your doctor who would likely do an in office urine test first

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

I thought our Human Resources Dept. told us you could write prescriptions? I feel like I wasted my money as the info you provided was also on the internet.

not allowed, sorry

Detailed Answer:
HI

I am truly sorry if your work dep. stated that you could be given prescriptions here. That was a mistake on their part and apologies for any inconvenience but we only provide advice for persons with medical complaints.

Suggesting investigations and course of treatment are all that we are allowed to do. We are not allowed to provide prescription

Again sorry for an inconvenience
