Yes. Pushing hard will help in removing the stone. But this is possible for smaller stones. If sharp edges or big stones this may be harmful as this can lead to bleeding and damage to the mucosa.
Since you can initiate urination the symptoms may be due to BPH
as in complete block in urethra
due to stones, you cannot urinate. Just relax and urinate, this will help in BPH.
After USG abdomen and pelvis we can plan for your management. Forced diuresis (building pressure and forced urination) is one of the management for stones of smaller size. This will be done under analgesic
and sedative drug.
