Brief Answer:
You need lifestyle modifications too with drugs.

Detailed Answer:
Dear madam,

Just medications are not sufficient.. You need lifestyle modification too along with proper and regular medications. Please do exercise which will improve the insulin resistance and helps tissues in utilizing glucose.

Consume more of green leafy vegetables, fruits, oats, milets and other fiber rich food stuffs ... Divide your meal in to 3 to 4 smaller parts .. Be away from fried and processed food stuffs ... Take boiled fish or small slices of chicken ... But at the same time you must avoid carbohydrates .. You eat such that you get even energy from proteins so that there will be slow and sustained rise in sugar levels .. Avoid stress go for walk at least half an hour to one hour a day .. Yoga and pranayama helps you for sure ...

Please follow those lifestyle changes regularly with medications for 3 months and please check your HbA1c, microalbuminuria and lipid profile ..and do contact us later we can decide weather you need insulin injections or not ..

Thank you.
