Sometimes they are bearable but sometimes they are sharp and very painful, Sometimes the pain lasts for a minute or two and sometimes longer. Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be residual pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Its unlikely to be residual pain from the fracture as bone remodeling virtually takes care of that completely. You need to get your back and ribs examined. Osteoporosis should be taken into consideration and screening can be offered if relevant. An EKG and stress test can be done to rule out a cardiac cause. An MRI of the thoracolumbar spine can be advised if the pain is severe and does not respond to medication to look for any compressional deterioration.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
