Brief Answer:
Seizure medication

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Tonic clonic seizures should be controlled via administration of either lorazepam or diazepam in the ER. The necessary precautions with respect to airway and neck security would be maintained better in an emergency setting. When the seizures are controlled on these medication then subsequently valproate or clonazepam and /or levetiracetam can be prescribed to prevent recurrence.

There is one way that your neurologist can assist in the prescription. If you can go to your GP or another neurologist and arrange a telephonic or video conversation then the matter can be discussed and your medication would be adjusted in consult with your neurologist.

If no contact can be established then you need to consult another neurologist.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
