Suggest Treatment For Tiny Spot On Tip Of Nose

default
Posted on Tue, 12 Jan 2016
Question: tiny little spot on tip of nose. definitely not a pimple, it bleeds if i try and pop it. nothing really pops, just breaks open the skin and bleeds a little. Then after alcohol is applied and witch XXXXXXX it dries out and looks better till the scab falls off and the little spot is still there and starts all over again. I dont know, if it is a cancer since im fair skin. but i hardly go in the sun and use sun block when i do.
My biggest fear i guess would it be a form of herpes on my nose, and if it was woudnt it be gone after a good month or two, It has been there for about two months. If it was a fungal infetion, wouldn it be gone two after a few moths of treating it. with neosporine and other antioxidant creams.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
You might have developed sebaceous cyst.
Your symptoms are suggestive of that.
Its not appearing to be herpes however confirmation can be done only with photograph.
Can you please upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and a better line of management.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.

As soon as the scab falls off its red again and the spot is still there. Could it Be BCC. or something similar? I try and stay out of the sun, but i live in South Florida. Its very XXXXXXX all year around. thank you for your time. I sent Pictures, I hope they help.

Brief Answer:
non healing ulcer

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the photographs.
It is just a tiny non healing ulcer.
Just relax it's not a cancer.
It's not healing because you keep poping it in hope to remove it's content, which in fact causes more damage.
Apply an antibiotic cream like mupirocine for 15 days.
You will get response.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

thank you for your help, I feel like that's really what it is. Makes the most sense due to the way it looks close up in a mirror. I have one more question for you tho, What do you think about Raw honey or any other natural cures for it? I Try an only use Un-Natural products as a last resort. Im gonna go get some of that cream you suggested, Just says there are side effects, Thats why i was wondering about the raw honey or any other natural cures. Thank you for your time. It is much appreciated.
