    Suggest treatment for tinnitus and pain caused by TMJ

Question: I am 21 I have tmj and my jaw kills. It hurts when I eat and my jaw makes a clicking sound. I used a mouth guard at night that I got from the store but it has helped. My top teeth have a lot of gaps. Do you think I will need braces

1. Since how long you have the problem?
2. What did the dentist advised you, they advised only surgery can help or anything else also advised?
3. Since how long you are wearing mouth guard?
4. Are you taking any Medication like painkillers?
5.Have you got a full mouth x rays done, if yes please send me s scan of it.
6.Was the mouth guard advised to you by your dentist?
