Question: Hi, i need an opinion. I am on treatment for tinea versicolor, i have it on my back. It can spread on my chest even if i am under treatment?

Tinea versicolor usually doesn't spread further while the person is taking antifungal medicines especially if the person is taking oral antifungals.

Although as a rare occurrence if the fungi have developed resistance to the currently used drugs then tinea can spread.

This is first time when i have it, i don't think is resistant. Today are 4 days of treatment, How much time it takes to go away?
