PPIs like nexium and pro kinetics like metoclopramide along with bismuth subsalicylate and sucralfate are options for aggressive therapy to avoid ulcerations and reflux symptoms. If complications of strictures, upper G.I bleeds or pulmonary complications like aspiration pneumonia or asthma occur then surgical options should be considered including Nissen fundoplication or Belsey fundoplication.
