1. hopefully you must have consulted an Orthopedic surgeon for Check up who must have given due consideration in taking up your case with necessary examination and relevant Investigations.
2. The condition mostly affects people of Age 40 or older [48 years in your case]
3. make sure to rule out diabetes, overactive or under active thyroid, heart disease, tuberculosis or Parkinson’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis [since people with them are more prone to develop frozen shoulder], check with routine examination/investigation
4. since condition is/are reversible but can initially limit your ADL [activities of daily living] due to associated painful symptoms, thus management is directed towards:
. controlling pain [remove or reduce the causing force or stress]
. preserving ROM [range of motion] as much as possible
5. In Ayurveda we treat on the line of Avabahuka:

[The aim of the Ayurveda treatment is to bring the vitiated vata in equilibrium. The most popular XXXXXXX therapy is pizhichil, you may ask an experienced Panchkarma Doctor about the same]
VI. A physiotherapist can show you gentle exercises that will improve your range of motion, you may also ask for TENS [trans cutaneous electrical nerve stimulation' which could help ease symptoms, although studies haven’t proven their effectiveness.
VII. For joint protection following guidelines are effective;

1. For Shoulder;
. Do not reach an object from sideways or backwards rather face it directly.
. when rising from chair, use your thigh muscles for rising and not your shoulders or hands.

Brief Answer:
Prevention & Treatment

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. Make sure to avoid activities which involve twisting or gripping motions like: gardening, playing violin, using a screw driver or doing wood work.

PS. make sure to avoid activities in which the forearm muscles are repeatedly contracted against resistance.

2. As said earlier: [remove or reduce the causing force or stress], thus if you think playing badminton aggravates the symptoms you may consider giving a break, since the sport require repetitive wrist extension and/or hand gripping

3. Encourage gripping whose prime focus is on hand muscles (Duck grip), rather than forearms muscles [Finger grip], consult Sports Medicine Specialist for this.

4. Vatakulantak ras: 125 mg
Rasraj ras: 125 mg
Panchamrit Lauha guggul: 500 mg.. twice daily

. rason sura- 15ml
dashmoolarishta- 25ml... after meals with equal amount of water [twice daily]

. Erand pak- 15gm with milk at bed time

PS. You may contact Ayurveda Store for the medicines or consult an Ayurveda Physician in your town for alternate/substitute of any drug prescribed.
