Suggest Treatment For Tachycardia
Question: Was wondering if I have tachycardia can I get fmla
Brief Answer:
Should not be a problem
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I think that you are talking about FMLA (Family & Medical Leave). Tachycardia is not a contraindication to availing it. However, the underlying cause is important. Unless it is due to some arrythmia, you need not worry.
Let me know if I could help further.

I was asking if this is a health problem where I would get FMLA ... I have had episodes where this leaves me in the hospital. So I'm asking do you think that this qualifies me to receive intermittent FMLA

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Thanks for clarifying. I do not think that you need to avail FMLA merely due to tachycardia. Merely having tachycardia would possibly not qualify you to getting FMLA. However, I would need to know how you came to know that you have tachycardia, what heart rates were recorded, was is at rest or after exercise, what sort of baseline recording you have, and whether an ECG has been done (with a long lead II).
I would be glad if you provide the answers to the above questions. Based on that I would guide you further.
