Posted on Tue, 15 Dec 2015
Question: I seem to have contacted valley fever. It started March 2015, since that time I have broken all but one of my top teeth off, They just seem to rot from the inside out. I have night sweets, cough, Had a bad infection in my noise. Sores in my mouth, and my ears are always stopped up. I have broken out in a small rash all over, little dry crusty places about the size of a dime. My skin sticks together in membrane areas. It causes foreskin and scrotum to stick, Have been using baby powder.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms seems to be consistent with Valley Fever..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms are pointing towards Valley Fever that is a fungal infection and the symptoms of cold and flu like symptoms, rash and dryness of mucosa seems to be due to it..
Most of the times the infection subsides on its own but in persistent cases antifungal medicines can be advised which you are already taking..
As you are already being treated with a doctor I would like to know a bit more about your problem so that I can guide you better towards treatment..

1.Is itba recurring episode of infection or happened first time?
2.As you seems to be taking blood pressure medication and thyroid medication I would like to know that since how long you are taking the Medication and also do you have any other medical problems?
3.Have you got chest x Ray done or any other investigation for Valley Fever and for how long you are on treatment bwith anti-fungal medicines?

Any other information and questions are also welcome..

Thanks and regards.
