Brief Answer:
Sounds like Muscle pain

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain in you left side chest neck and arm. Since it started initially in your shoulder and has now encompassed your chest and arms I think this is continuation of muscular pain and spasms. The tramadol is a good pain reliever but you may need additional anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant to relieve you of the pain. I also recommend physical therapy or massage therapy to work on the muscles in your neck shoulders and back.

If this is not muscular pain and you have in addition to pain, difficulty breathing or heart palpitations then this is a more serious condition and may need further evaluation by your doctor. Sometimes pain in the neck shoulders and chest can be signs of lung infection or pleurisy. Also women can have heart attacks with unusual pain but with you being only 50 years old I would not suspect heart attack as high on the list of causes.

If the pain is accompanied at all with heart palpitation or difficulty breathing or fever and cough then I recommend that you seek medical attention soon.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns and questions
