Brief Answer:
Get done vitamin b 12 level.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Respiratory symptoms, oral ulceration, blisters, neuropathy etc can be seen in connective tissue diseases (CTD s).
Another possibility is multivitamin deficiency like folic acid, pyridoxine, riboflavin, vitamin b 12 deficiency.
Prednisone can also cause oral ulceration and blisters.
So better to get done
1. Serum ANA level.
2. Vitamin b 12 level
3. Biopsy from the oral lesions.
Avoid oral steroids if not required.
Please reply me if u above mentioned investigations done or not.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

My blood work revealed b12 normal. I had a colonoscopy in July, the following week had acute bronchitis, then thrush, now blisters. So the oxycodone I was taking and weened off of has nothing do do with the neuropathy? I also suffer from classic migraine and arthritis in the neck. Pain is now in my hands, legs and knees. I did have an RFL procedure in January and another in April. Your thoughts? They diagnosed me with herpetic gingivostomatitus. But the acyclovir hasn't helped.

I don't think these oral lesions are neuropathy related.
You might be having stress ulcers. You are also having classical migraine, so possibility of stress ulcers is high.
Please let me know

2. Is your migraine under control?
3. What was the indication for colonoscopy?

stress for the last 5 years. Death of my 3 dogs and my father, my mother is narcissistic. I lost my house, car, and my company. My daughter is having pseudo seizures. Plus dealing with my own illness. How can I possibly deal with all of it? By the grace of God! I have suffered with migraine since I was 10 years old not diagnosed until in my 20's. Colonoscopy was fine.

Brief Answer:
Have you ever consulted psychiatrist?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
So you are having very very stressful life.
And this is the most likely cause for your oral ulceration.
No point in taking acyclovir, because it is not helping.
Best treatment for stress ulcers is
1. Avoidance of stress.
2. Plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
4. Take multivitamin tablets containing folic acid, vitamin b 12, riboflavin, pyridoxine, zinc etc.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever consulted psychiatrist?
2. Have you ever undergone psychological counselling?
3. Do you take any multivitamin tablets?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Years ago with pyschologist..helped me through a bad divorce. Psychiatrists evaluate and drug you never getting to the root cause in my history. Maybe it's genetic. All the women in my family have undue stress. My main concern and stress factor is my narcissistic mother whom I have chosen to shake the dust off my feet and not have a relationship with. I understand that I have literally been traumatized by this woman for years. I don't need a psych evaluation to tell me that to stay away from people who cause me stress. I am disabled and on SSID. It's just that the blisters on my lips inner cheeks and on my gums are stressing me out more than she is and the fact that I have been dealing with illness for so long does help either. I go to my reg MD tomorrow. I will let you know what she says. Thank you so much for your expertise and suggestions.
