Brief Answer:
Chronic pancreatitis is the most probable reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

What was the reason of pancreas tail removal? Was it a chronic pancreatitis or tumor? If it was a tumor, was it malignant or benign?

Your symptoms are very characteristic for chronic pancreas inflammation. No doubt in that. To diagnose it, you should have abdominal CT rather than an ultrasound which can only poorly visualize pancreas.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

Yes it was a maglinent tumor on the pancreas. The spleen was also removed because the blood source ran through the tumor. I did have an ab ct scan and there was no mention of inflammation on the pancreas. The ultrasound was through the stomach wall during endoscopy. Only found cyst on pancreas that they took sample to biopsy. It looked ok..but have not got result back yet.

Brief Answer:
Bile ducts obstruction should be ruled out as well.

Detailed Answer:
Have you had liver enzymes and pancreas enzymes checked? As another thing to be ruled out is bile ducts obstruction. In case of that issue ERCP should be done.
