Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Bronchitis
Question: Hi Doc,
Its been a week or so that my throat is not good, chest is also very uneasy. I feel that cough is there but it is not coming out though I try a lot. I go to the gym in the morning. Is it due to cold season.
I quit smoking six months back so in morning when ever cough comes out is not white but bit dark.I also try hard for cough to come out so in one or two case there was bright red spot in cough as well.
Pls suggest

As per your clinical details, it appears to be allergic bronchitis (past history of smoking and cold season). I suggest you to consult ent doctor or a pulmonologist and get detailed examination, blood tests (complete blood picture with ESR). If necessary X-ray chest (to know the depth of infection). Further treatment can be started according to the findings.
