Brief Answer:
Local hygiene and antibiotic ointment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Sometimes, the constant irritation of perineal area and vaginal introitus from a rough surface ( in your case, the material of the cloth) leads to excessive sweating, itching, redness, swelling and may cause cuts and open lesions.
In that condition, local hygiene should be maintained. You should preferably use cotton underwears.
On the open lesions, antibiotic ointment should be applied to prevent any superimposed infection.
The swelling and lesions should heal within a week.
If they still don't heal, then I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined for any other cause of swelling and sores (like fungal or bacterial infection), and get treated accordingly.

Wishing you good health.

I talked with you a day ago. My swelling has gone down and not near as painful but the sore is still not going away. It had kind of a white coating on parts of it. Should I be concerned?

Brief Answer:
probably exudate

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for responding.

The white coatingon yhe sores can be because of the collection of healing cells and exudates to cause rapid healing. This will heal on its own.
I would suggest you to apply antibiotic ointment on the sores and wait for at least 1 week for healing.
