Brief Answer:
It is inflammatory lymph node swelling. Don't worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query. I have gone through the attachments.

What you refer to as clots are most likely swollen nodes in your neck. Since this has appeared in the recent past weeks they are most likely due to some recent infection in your throat or any other part of your upper respiratory tract.

The same is suggested by the FNAC report. The Mantoux report is negative so there is no chance that it could be Tuberculosis.

I would suggest you consult your Doctor and take a course of antibiotics for the infection for a week. And then wait for two to three weeks for the swelling to come down. I usually prescribe my patients Tab Ceftum 500mg twice daily or Tab Augmentin 1gm twice daily for a week. You can also add some anti inflammatory medicines like Diclofenac sodium or Ibuprofen.

There is no need to worry and you should be fine in a few weeks time.

If you have any other queries I would be more than happy to do so.
Take care.
Dr Rishi.
