Suggest Treatment For Swollen Itchy Blisters On The Penis

Question: Good day doc. I have a problem which has been bothering me for some time now. I have some small swollen and itchy blisters on my penis and it usually appears anywhere around my genitals....It is water filled, if popped it will become a sore and very itchy.....I need help.

I have gone through your complaints as well as reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be herpes genitalis which is a sexually transmitted viral infection.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take antivirals like tablet aciclovir 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days and apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected areas twice daily for 5-7 days.
Antivirals are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Thank you so much doctor. I can get it XXXXXXX the counter, but I need you to know that its a water filled and it itches and turns to a very itchy sore.

Take a course of aciclovir for 5 days.
The blisters should heal.
In case of itching take tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
