Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Penis
Question: Hi,
I am 24 years old and my penis swells after having sex or masturbating. This problem started 2 months back when I had vigorous sex with my girlfriend. There would be light pain for couple of hours and the swelling disappears in 24 - 48 hrs. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Thanks for query ,Based on the facts that you have posted it seems your penis remains swollen for couple of hours after sex or masturbation .
During erection of penis erectile tissue in penis gets filled up with 120 ml of arterial blood and at the same time venous channels are blocked this trapped blood results into erection of penis adequate hard enough to have penetrative intra vaginal sex .This trapped blood gets drained out via venous channels after ejaculation by a complex neurological stimuli making penis flaccid .
It is likely that this process of draining out the blood through erectile tissue is delayed resulting into your penis remaining partially erect or swollen for couple of hours .
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination.You need to get diagnosis confirmed by a test called Colour Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of penis .
There is nothing to be worried about it .

Hi doctor,
After having sex with my girlfriend, the next day there was white dry skin under the foreskin near the head of the penis. There was lot of itching and foul smell for almost 4 days. I have not had sex after that, so its been almost 40 days. But whenever I masturbate there would be swelling and light pain. Can this be some kind of infection?

The white skin may be smegma covering frenulum and could be due to infection of glans penis .
You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination .
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefotaxime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily
