Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Penis

Question: My son is 18 years old and he didn't have a Circumcision but yesterday he wasn't able to pull the foreskin back over the penis do to swelling is there a need for me to be concern this has never happen to him and he's a little scared and I am to I am afraid to get the circumcision because of the horror stories I being hearing is there any way to correct this or somehow reduce the swelling so that the skin can overlap like it should?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your son has developed what is called as Paraphimosis mostly due to attempting dry ,vigorous handling of his penis during masturbation .

You need to reduce it manually at earliest and will need to visit nearest ER or go to General surgeon for clinical assessment .He will either reduce it manually or by injecting Inj Hyluranidase locally .

Give him antibiotic like Doxicycline and anti inflammatory medicine like Diclofenac twice daily .

Further treatment as regards whether he needs to get circumcised or not will be decided by him .

There is nothing to be worried .
