Brief Answer:
Its due Nerve damage.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr Divakara P
Thanks for posting your query.

Numbness indicates problems in the nerves. Nerve problem can happen due to many causes, common among them are Diabetes, Vitamin B12 deficiency or spine diseases.

Considering your other symptoms of frequent urination and increased thirst my first suspicion is Diabetes only.

Hence I advise you to get tested for diabetes with tests of fasting and postprandial blood sugars. Along with this also get a test called Nerve conduction study which will confirm the nerve damage and also tells us the severity of the damage.

Kindly revert back with reports.

If you are intending to consult doctor I recommend you consult a neurologist.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.
