Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Pain will subside with Combiflam as it is a painkiller..

Eating ice cream helps as it will help in reducing inflammation and helps and making the blood clot firm in the extraction socket..

Diet has no restrictions and the only thing that you should do is to take soft foods like milk and bread, rice, dal, khichdi, soups etc and other soft foods..
Avoid drinking anything with a straw and avoid spitting forcefully..

Do not worry everything will heal soon..

Eating salty food like dal, rice is paining and there is swallowing on cheek as well do not know how long will it take to recover fully. Please advice the veg. food for speedy recovery as i can't chew its paining while chewing.

For the RCT tooth filling needs to be done while extraction of tilted wisdom tooth the filling has come out. What should be the plan of treatment for the filling and capping as there are stitches needs to be removed after 7 days. Shall i go after 3 days from now for the filling and later for stitch removal. Please provide the details and best of treatment while handling these cases.

Brief Answer:
Pain is commonly seen, do not worry..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your query pain and swelling over the cheek is a common finding after wisdom tooth extraction and can take for about a week to get relieved..

Dal, rice are soft foods and some level of pain while chewing is not abnormal..
You will have to cope up with it as eating is very much necessary..
You can grind your foods like dal, milk and chapatis or bread with milk into a very easily eatable form and eat it as solid food has to be taken..

You can also take soups, milk when hungry..

I would suggest you to get the RCT tooth filled only once the pain at the wisdom tooth site gets relieved and the healing is appropriate and no need to hurry for it..
A gap of two weeks must be there before you proceed for capping and atleast a week to ten days for filling..
Avoid chewing from the side of extraction and use the other side..

Please revert back for further queries.

Not happening today

3. Is the pain reduced is severity as compared to the last days when the tooth was extracted or the pain is still the same?
Yes it has reduced

4. Is the pain during chewing has reduced or not?
Yes. But taking painkiller at 10-12 hour interval because it again comes if COMBIFLAM is skipped but minor pain under the operated area where stiches are there

5. Are you able to open you mouth fully without pain?
YES

Please let me know is the right time for filling the RCT tooth is 2 days from now as extraction was done 4 days back on SUNDAY and wound is also healing as per recent review by the doctor yesterday. I am planning to remove stitches on this saturday i.e. 6 days after and proceed with temp filling on the same on RCT tooth.

Please advice correct line of treatment with details. As the weather out here is quite cold so need your opinion on healing process. Shall i still need to apply ice pack on cheek?

Please reply with details.

Brief Answer:
You can proceed for temporary filling..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

As per your answers it is apparent that the healing is going on good..
You should proceed for removal of stitches after a week only..
As far as filling of RCT tooth is concerned you can proceed for temporary filling as it is a simple procedure and will not have any effect on the extraction site..
Then after 15-20 days of extraction, you can get permanent filling done..
I will also advise you to get capping of the tooth done as it will increase the life of your tooth and prevent it from breaking or fracture under chewing forces..
Ice packs are no more needed as the area will heal on its own now..
Slight pain is not abnormal and will gradually get better..

Please revert back for further queries..

Shall i proceed on Saturday for removal of stitches and temp filling i.e. after 6days as SUNDAY wants to reserve for any issues and MONDAY planning to join office, what should be the frequency of COMBIFLAM as already taken 10 for the last 4days. Are there any side effects for taking it?

Shall i eat from both sides and eating chew gum is allowed for exercise? Juices are suggested as fruits can not chew.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..

If healing is appropriate, you can get the stitches removed on Saturday and get temporary filling done in the same appointment..

You can take combiflam at 10-12 hour interval as it is not going to cause any serious problems..

As of now avoid eating from the extraction site to prevent any injury and chew from opposite side..
Juices can be taken but now slowly start taking solid foods also..

Avoid excessive straining like chewing gum as of now..

Please revert back for further queries and I would request you to please rate the previous question as Five star and write a positive review as a token of appreciation..

Hope this helps..
