Question: My left leg is slightly swollen compared to the right, i had fluid removed from the back of the knee 6-8 was ago, has gone down a bit with exercise but the ankle and foot are retaining more fluid still

1. Fluid removed from similar side of knee ( left ) , what was the diagnosis at
that time for which it was done , any reports of that fluid had done
2. Duration of fluid removal was 6-8 weeks or months , duration of current
problem ( was it there before fluid removal already or later appeared )
any history of trauma to same foot
3. Swelling persist 24 hrs or notice more in relation to particular period of day
say after walking or working , any pain in foot or ankle , overlying skin
changes if any
4. If feasible can take a measure tape , check circumference in cm of both feet
& tell me in next session
5. Press your thumb firmly in fluid filled area & see whether there is pitting or
not
6. Presence of systemic ailments as diabetes , hypertension , arthritis & taking
any medicines for such problems
