Suggest Treatment For Swelling Behind The Ears And Muscle Pain

Question: Hi,

I was having swelling behind and below ears. Doctor told its mumps. This was on 9th July. Now the swelling is gone but I have muscle pain all over the body. Also extreme pain in eyes blocked nose and pain behind and in front of ear. also pain in back of head.
most of the pain is in axillary region (ribs) and below thighs.
ESR is 22 and CRP is 20.8.
Is the disease not cured completely?

Anecdotal information on a small number of patients with orchitis suggests that subcutaneous administration of interferon alpha2b may help in early recovery in case of orchiditis

Hi Doctor,

My PANCA CANCA ANA and Anti DsDNA test came back negative. There is lot of pain in right ear and around and jaw line skin seems thick. also the ball like gland just below jaw on right side seems swollen and painful along with right cheeks and behind the ear.
It has been 14 days since first swelling appeared. then it decreased and now seems like its coming back. Can mumps take this long? I am really worried.
