Brief Answer:
Sun stroke get out of the sun and cool the body down

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.

I sun stroke is when the bodies ability to reduce body temperature in hot weather no longer cools the body. The body temperature raises and can cause neurological changes and seizures. The first treatment is to bring the patient indoors into a shaded area and a cooler area. Place cool wet clothes on them to help reduce the core body temperature. If the patient is still conscious then allowing them to drink sports drinks or other electrolyte solutions to replace fluids lost during sweating. If the patient is unconscious then they need immediate medical treatment at an emergency room.

In summary
1. Heat stroke caused by body unable to cool down after exposure to prolonged heat
2. Remove from heat, place in shade or air conditioned environment
3. Place cool blankets over patient
4. Give sport solutions or other electrolyte solutions to replace fluids
5. transfer to ER if unconscious
