Suggest treatment for stress induced inflammation causing airway obstruction

Question: You were mentioning that "Stress accentuates the airway inflammatory response to environmental triggers. Other than stress reduction like yoga and meditation, what other changes will help reduce the inflammatory response to the airways to help in small airway obstruction. More changes the better.

Oh your comment on all my drs are trying to convince me. I need that reassurance and thank you for it

So start all these things in your life. These will reduce inflammation.

I thought I once read that it is good to eat a diet that is low in inflammatory foods so that the body does not have to deal with foods that promote an inflammatory response in the body when dealing with other issues.

Maybe I misunderstood.

No this is not true.
You should eat food with high anti oxidants. Anti oxidants are substances which fight with inflammation.
This is the reason why we prescribe anti oxidants pills in illness.
They will reduce the inflammation and hence subside the disease process fast.

My diet consists of small portions at any sitting, with one exception and that is when pizza is served,

Daily breakfast is generally PLAIN yogurt and maybe a handful of nuts after the yogurt is finished.

Lunch varies but two to three times a week its just a romaine lettuce salad with dressing. a couple pieces of real cheese, not processed. and a few potato chips.

Days with out the salad I may just have the cheese and some smoked salami and chips.

Milk when ever possible.

Dinner at night is left overs in the fridge.

Weekends are usually just a light snack and one meal out.
