Question: How long until I feel relief on clarithromycin? I

Yes, on about February 10 I had a positive strep culture. I felt better for a few days on amoxicillan, but then started feeling worse again. On the 17, they prescribed clarithromycin (sp?) over the phone. A few hours before I started taking it, I started feeling worse than I did tonbegjn wit. Now, I've taken three doses of 500 mg each, and still have a 101 fever, lots of painful coughing, a headache, sore throat, and neck pain (I have had the neck pain since the day of the culture). Hope this gives enough info. Thanks for the help!h
