Brief Answer:
It is because of stomach reflux.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is could be due to stomach acid reflux, gastric irritation and food allergy or rarely gastroenteritis provided that your child doesn't have diarrhoea or fever or he is otherwise healthy.
As you said he is still vomiting watery things then this is just a stomach reflux because of food irritation or allergy causes stomach contractions to expel out its contents out of body.
So,if there is no history of fall down and as I said if your child is otherwise healthy then this could be the only reason behind his vomiting.
It might last up to 24-48 hours to get subsided automatically or you can give antiemetics(syrup ondasetron) and proton pump inhibitor (pantoprazole, rabeprazole etc) with pokinetic drugs but it must be taken after the doctor's consultation.
It would be advisable to see a pediatrician at least once and take treatment although there is nothing serious.

Brief Answer:
Cough might be a cause for this vomiting.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow-up query.
Your son's cough with sputum might be a reason behind his vomiting because in children when they cough,it increases their intra abdominal pressure causing reflux contractions from stomach and expel out its contents in vomitus. So this is actually a cough which induces vomiting.
The pediatrician has given vibact and bestozyme for restoring gut flora and digestion but I think he should also be given antiemetic with prokinetic drugs(cisapride, mosapride or levosulphride) which enhances gastrointestinal motility without disrupting their rhythm and have a very good role in treating GI disorders like acid reflux, IBS,dyspepsia etc.
Cough with sptum could be due to upper respiratory infection or throat congestion or chest congestion.
Vomiting during cough is a very common problem among children less than 5 years.
So,you better consult a experienced pediatrician for detailed history and thoroughly examination of your child and then seek for treatment.
Hope you will get my point.
Thanks and Regards,
