Brief Answer:
Stool tests and other as explained

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/65 - horrible stomach pains - bloody stools - trouble breathing - bloated abdomen... Visited Doctor - after months of all kind of tests he says he cannot find anything.

Please give me additional information for me to assist better:
- Since when is the problem of pain, bloating and blood in stool present? Recent or for a long time?
- Why were the blood tests being done for months? Does the patient has past problems too? If yes, please give details.

With the short history you have given I would advise such a patient the following:
To get the tests of stool and blood done to know whether there is infection.
If the infection is present he needs a course of an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, may be metronidazole and other medications as needed.
This may solve the acute problem.
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor will also help to find out the cause of breathlessness.
If the problem is long standing, further tests will be needed:
- Colonoscopy.
- Tests of stool for at least three times.
- Ultrasonography of the abdomen, still better will be CT scan as it is superior to ultrasound in finding the cause/s.

I hope this answer helps your husband in getting the correct diagnosis and proper management
