Hi,

I treat hyperacidity with a course of proton pump inhibitor drugs - pantoprazole 20mg twice daily before food for a week. For added benefits, antacid syrup and domperidone may be added.

If the problem is a long standing one, it is advisable to get evaluated and to rule out H.pylori infections.
